About the Author The author of Rivergate Resources is Dr Nick Hawkes, (Senior Pastor of Rivergate Christian Community)
- Nick has two degrees in theology and two in science.
- He is a well known preacher who has been invited to preach in America and India.
- Nick has authored a number of books including Basic Christianity, and The Country is Different. He is also the author of the BASICS discipling program.
- Nick has been a minister in a main line church for many years and has now planted a vibrant new church affiliated with the Crosslink Christian Network.
- He is a guest lecturer at the Bible College of South Australia and Tabor College.
